- Photos and videos stay on your device for compression. We do not upload media content to our servers.

- The app does not require an account or login. We do not use this data for advertising tracking and we do not sell personal data.
Video Metadata Preservation
When you enable video metadata preservation, Photo Compress to KB may try to preserve compatible capture information from the source video in the compressed output file saved on your device.
Location data is controlled separately. Location data is not preserved by default. If you enable Location Data, the app may try to preserve compatible location information from the source video in the local output file.
This metadata handling happens on your device. We do not upload your videos, video metadata, or location metadata to our servers. We do not use video metadata or location metadata for analytics, diagnostics, advertising, or tracking.
Analytics and Diagnostics
We use Firebase services such as Analytics and Crashlytics to understand how people use the app, improve core features, and diagnose crashes or stability issues. Analytics events include coarse information such as whether photo or video compression was used, whether compression completed successfully, which general mode was selected, and whether save, share, or preview actions were used. Crash and diagnostic reports include technical information needed to fix errors and improve app stability.
